The Challenge
Before partnering with AOC, Clash Graphics was stuck maintaining an outdated BigCommerce setup still running on the deprecated Stencil framework and an older theme that no longer supported modern features or performance standards. Combined with inconsistent output from freelancers and the constant need for micromanagement, their website had fallen behind the fast-paced standard they upheld in-store. They first hired AOC to redesign their email templates, and after seeing the difference in quality and communication, chose to move forward with a full site rebuild.
They needed a team capable of modernizing their BigCommerce environment, improving navigation, unifying the design system, and creating a storefront that matched the speed and professionalism of their print services.

Our Approach
We began by upgrading Clash Graphics from their legacy Stencil framework to the newest Cornerstone theme, giving them a faster, more flexible foundation. From there, we rebuilt their homepage with a bold visual banner designed to immediately communicate brand strength, while reworking navigation and submenu behavior to reduce friction and help users find services quickly.
Product pages received a full UX/UI overhaul, with refined terminology and structured layouts to make a complex service catalog easier to understand. A real-time “Chat Now” integration improved customer interaction, while a redesigned contact page simplified support access. We also added a Google Review button to encourage repeat customers to amplify the brand’s reputation. Finally, we optimized the checkout flow with a custom header and applied consistent UX/UI patterns across all devices, especially mobile.
Outcome
Clash Graphics replaced outdated technology and inconsistent freelancer output with a stable, modern, high-performing BigCommerce storefront. The migration off Stencil and onto the newest Cornerstone framework provided major gains in speed, flexibility, and long-term maintainability. Users now experience clearer navigation, cleaner product pages, and a more polished mobile journey, all contributing to higher engagement and stronger conversion paths.
The success of the project led Clash Graphics to continue with AOC on a monthly basis and sign up for a second build for their sister company.
