The Challenge
When CWR first came to AOC in 2018, they were running on Magento 1 with a previous agency that charged high rates, moved slowly, and did not feel like a long term partner. With Magento 1 approaching end of life, they needed someone they could trust to guide them through a safe platform transition and then stick around to support them afterward.
We first helped them keep Magento stable through its final stretch, then led a planned migration to BigCommerce so the brand could move onto a more modern, maintainable platform. From there, the challenge was less about “fixing a broken site” and more about keeping a mission critical ecommerce store healthy over time, handling the everyday tasks that pile up for an in house team: tax updates, content tweaks, promo changes, light CRO, and UX refinements that keep the site current without disrupting customers who depend on their filtration products.

Our Approach
We established a Monthly Service Model focused on steady, incremental improvements rather than one off rescue projects. After migrating CWR from Magento 1 to BigCommerce, we shifted into long term support: updating tax rates, keeping questionnaire fields and product data accurate, monitoring payments, and addressing technical issues before they became customer facing problems. In parallel, we maintained and refreshed the front end experience, editing promo banners, creating and updating homepage graphics, adding new products and vlogs, and keeping content aligned with current campaigns.
To support marketing, we assisted with email promotion campaigns around key holidays and offers, ensuring the site, messaging, and landing experiences stayed in sync. Throughout, we kept the backend organized and manageable so CWR’s team could handle day to day tasks without getting buried in technical complexity.

Outcome
CWR Environmental Products now maintains ecommerce momentum through ongoing, strategic website updates and maintenance, instead of constant emergency fixes. With a more stable site, cleaner content, and coordinated promotions, they are better positioned to connect with customers who depend on clean air and water while focusing internal energy on growth rather than troubleshooting.
