As a new company preparing to launch, Collegiate Waves needed a Shopify storefront that didn’t just list products but brought their entire lifestyle vision to life. They wanted a site that felt fun, bold, aspirational, and instantly welcoming — a digital home that reflected the emotional connection fans have to college sports and time spent on the water. With no existing site or structure in place, they needed full UX planning, design direction, brand-aligned visuals, and a flexible Shopify build they could grow into.

Our Approach
The project began by defining the site structure, user flows, and visual direction needed for a brand-new lifestyle Shopify store. Polished Figma layouts were created to express the brand’s personality through bold imagery, lake-life inspired colors, and an intuitive hierarchy that guided shoppers naturally from discovery to purchase.
After design approval, the store was built on Shopify’s Dawn theme for speed, flexibility, and long-term scalability. Navigation was structured for clarity, merchandising sections were crafted to feel immersive, and mobile layouts were refined to deliver a frictionless on-the-go experience. Foundational SEO, organized collections, and launch-ready email integrations were added to ensure the brand could grow immediately and sustainably.
