The Challenge
For years HTM tried to solve their ecommerce workload with freelancers and then with high cost in house developers. Freelancers were inconsistent, poorly documented, and hard to keep long term. In house hires were expensive and still could not cover the full mix of email marketing, design, development, marketplace management, CRO, and SEO.
As the brand grew, the Shopify store, Amazon presence, email program, and marketplaces like Walmart and eBay all needed coordinated support. Instead, work was fragmented, campaigns were reactive, and technical issues like bugs, 404s, indexing problems, and template fixes piled up. HTM needed a stable, ongoing partner who could handle everything from Amazon A+ content and weekly campaigns to UX fixes, SEO, and analytics under one monthly model.

Our Approach
HTM moved to AOC’s Monthly Service Model, giving them access to a full team rather than a single role. From 2020 through 2025, we built a multi channel production rhythm that covers email marketing, design, development, CRO, SEO, Amazon, and marketplaces. Early work focused on designing and scheduling Amazon A+ content, holiday and product feature email campaigns, homepage banners, and product imagery, all optimized for mobile and fast loading. In parallel, we fixed recurring technical issues like Shopify zoom bugs, CEIL errors, broken 404s, and structured data for review snippets and indexing.
As the relationship deepened, the scope expanded into continuous UX and CRO improvements. We integrated video galleries on key product pages, implemented sticky headers, refined mobile layouts, and optimized cart and checkout flows. On the marketing side, we supported Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, maintained seasonal branding changes, and kept content and creative aligned across Shopify, email, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. SEO work included link building, on page improvements, GSC fixes, and resolving indexing issues. Today HTM averages more than 120 hours per month with AOC, tracked by role and task so the team always knows where the budget is going and what impact it is driving.


Outcome
HTM Lighting Solutions now runs a coordinated ecommerce and marketing program instead of a patchwork of disconnected efforts. Their Shopify store, Amazon listings, marketplaces, emails, and ads all benefit from one integrated team that understands their products, brand standards, and priorities. Tasks that once took multiple revisions now move faster because the AOC team knows what HTM likes and what works for their audience.
