The Challenge
After outgrowing their Shopify store, Robby and Harley was looking for a change.. The catalog, navigation, and page structure did not fully support their growing product line or the story driven presentation they wanted for the brand. As they planned a move to BigCommerce, they needed more than a basic theme install. The migration had to bring products, content, and key pages across without chaos, while also improving how collections, categories, and regional branding were presented.
At the same time, the new BigCommerce storefront needed to be properly structured from day one. Core pages were incomplete, product sorting was inconsistent, and legal and policy pages were either missing or not connected. They needed a stable BigCommerce foundation that could scale with new designs, promotions, and collections, without constant rework.

Project Goals
Migrate the storefront from Shopify to BigCommerce using a Lifestyle Stencil theme.
Complete and organize key pages including homepage, category, product, and inner pages.
Apply consistent North Carolina brand elements across the site.
Clean up navigation, subcategories, and product sorting for easier browsing.
Put legal and policy pages in place for a professional and compliant foundation.
Our Approach
We began by setting up and configuring the Lifestyle theme in a Stencil environment, then mapped the Shopify catalog into BigCommerce with a focus on clean structure and predictable behavior. The team built out the homepage, product pages, category pages, and key inner content pages so that the new store felt complete at launch, not like a work in progress. We applied Robby and Harley’s North Carolina branding throughout the site, standardized product sorting on category pages, removed unnecessary subcategories for simpler navigation, and expanded product titles on the homepage for better visibility. To round out the build, we created and connected core legal pages including Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, and Terms of Service, and ensured basic SEO elements such as store logo usage and key system pages were correctly configured.

Outcome
Migrating from Shopify to BigCommerce gave Robby and Harley a stronger foundation for growth. Instead of patching an aging store, they now have a cohesive, fully configured Lifestyle based storefront with clear navigation, consistent branding, and the right legal and structural pieces in place. The new setup makes it easier to add products, run promotions, and tell their brand story, while giving the team a scalable platform they can refine and expand over time.
