The Challenge
After contacting several freelancers but lacking confidence in their capabilities, New Frontier Armory sought a partner that could professionally upgrade their BigCommerce storefront without the high cost or complexity of a full rebuild. They needed a reliable team to implement a clean theme update, refresh the look and feel with targeted design improvements and enhance UX clarity.

Our Approach
We completed a clean upgrade to the Halo One Tactical theme, applying focused UX and visual refinements without disrupting the store’s existing structure. The team optimized homepage imagery for clarity and load performance, rebuilt the hero carousel, and fine-tuned layout spacing, hierarchy, and button placements for a more intuitive shopping experience. We also corrected several technical issues affecting usability, improved product organization by adding new categories, and resolved rendering quirks to ensure the site functioned smoothly across all devices.
Outcome
The refreshed BigCommerce storefront delivered an immediate improvement in how customers navigate, engage, and shop. With the updated theme, cleaner visual hierarchy, and a more intuitive interface, New Frontier Armory now has a modern, reliable, and conversion-ready foundation. The enhancements led to major jumps in traffic and conversions, validating the decision to move away from freelancers and partner with a dedicated team capable of delivering a polished, high-performing site.

I hired them to change out our Big Commerce theme as well as add some customization. They did everything within the quoted dollar amount and timeframe. I was probably the one they were waiting to give them information, had I been more accessible they probably could have finished before the promised timeframe. I have since decided to add them on for monthly Big Commerce maintenance of our site instead of hiring a dedicated full time employee. For us this is much more cost effective especially given their expertise. Highly recommend.
