Why It Was A Fit
Golf Brands needed a more reliable way to maintain and improve a portfolio of BigCommerce and Shopify storefronts. Previous reliance on individual freelancers and in-house development roles made it difficult to support multiple brands consistently across UX/UI, front-end work, theme maintenance, and recurring optimization. The Monthly relationship was built around creating one coordinated web team for the portfolio.

Ongoing Priorities
The engagement focused on recurring priorities that could be applied across multiple storefronts:
Create a repeatable process for updates across BigCommerce and Shopify brands.
Modernize UX/UI while respecting each brand’s existing identity and custom product flows.
Improve mobile responsiveness, product-page usability, cart clarity, and checkout experience.
Standardize common patterns such as sticky headers, breadcrumbs, calls to action, and media galleries where appropriate.
Address identified accessibility issues without overstating compliance status.
Support seasonal and promotional design changes while maintaining stable core layouts.
Continue CRO, development, and maintenance work across the portfolio.
The Engagement
Always Open Commerce became the ongoing web team across brands including Ben Hogan, MacGregor, Woodworm, The Sports HQ, and Fore24. A shared set of UX and implementation patterns was adapted site by site, while work continued across code cleanup, product-page improvements, promotional updates, technical fixes, and recurring maintenance.
