Launch Context
Fiberglassdoor.com needed a launch-ready BigCommerce storefront for homeowners, contractors, and builders comparing fiberglass entry doors, custom configurations, pricing, lead times, and supporting project information. The build combined storefront UX, theme implementation, catalog and pricing setup, foundational SEO and analytics, quality assurance, and project management.
Built To Do More
The storefront needed to support a detailed buying journey without unnecessary custom infrastructure:
Create clear homepage, navigation, category, product, blog, and supporting-content experiences.
Present product options, tier or volume pricing, lead-time information, and practical buying guidance.
Build the storefront on the approved Cornerstone-based theme foundation.
Configure catalog, shipping, foundational SEO, analytics, and search-engine requirements.
Support responsive use across common devices and browsers.
Experience & Build Strategy
The design and build were organized around the information a door shopper needs to evaluate before purchase: product configuration, imagery, pricing, lead time, installation information, supporting guides, and clear next steps. Design, data, SEO, development, and QA were coordinated within one implementation plan so their dependencies could be handled together.

Key Build Decisions

Storefront Design & Content Structure
Homepage, header, footer, mega menu, product, category, blog, email-template, and supporting-content experiences were designed as a connected system.

BigCommerce Theme Development
The approved experience was implemented on a Cornerstone-based theme using the Knockety theme copy identified for the project. The scope included core templates, inner pages, email templates, and custom product-page functionality.

Product Data, Pricing & Shipping
BigCommerce tier/bulk pricing and the required shipping setup were configured as part of the storefront foundation.

Foundational SEO & Analytics
GA4, Google Search Console, sitemap, robots.txt, scoped metadata, URL optimization, and domain-redirection work were included for launch.
Launch Readiness
Quality assurance reviewed CTA clarity, purchasing paths, required storefront functionality, and responsive behavior across common devices and browsers. The project tracker also records approvals across principal design and development milestones.
A post-launch SEMrush review identified a mixture of confirmed site issues, legacy URLs, CMS-generated behavior, and broader recommendations; the findings were triaged so actionable cleanup could be separated from non-critical or out-of-scope warnings.

Launch Outcome
Fiberglassdoor.com launched a BigCommerce storefront with the primary customer-facing templates, supporting content, pricing configuration, shipping setup, foundational search/analytics configuration, and QA work included in the project. The completed foundation gives homeowners, contractors, and builders a more structured storefront for exploring the catalog while providing the business with a platform-based system that can be maintained and expanded over time.
