The Challenge
Building on a successful partnership with Always Open Commerce (AOC) for their Clash Graphics store, Flyers ASAP sought a cost-effective theme update for their BigCommerce store. The client's primary goal was to migrate from the outdated Classic Next Light (Blueprint) theme to the Stencil framework. This required duplicating the theme while retaining the existing design.
Project Goals
Migrate from the Blueprint framework to the Stencil framework
Duplicate the Clash Graphics theme with no changes to the Flyers ASAP design.
Retain the existing site content and functionality.
Ensure all CSS files, JavaScript functionalities, and static media files are correctly transferred.
Maintain site performance and stability in the new Stencil environment.
Our Approach
Given the client's desire for a simple and cost-effective solution, we focused on a streamlined theme migration, prioritizing the accurate duplication of the Clash Graphics theme. This involved transferring existing content and functionality to the Stencil framework with minimal modifications. The emphasis was on replicating the existing design and structure for a seamless transition.
Outcome
The Stencil theme migration enabled Flyers ASAP to achieve their goal of a cost-effective theme update, leveraging their trust in AOC and the efficiency of a duplicate theme. By prioritizing a seamless migration and retaining the existing design, Flyers ASAP now has a functional and reliable ecommerce platform, positioned as a value-driven alternative, while maintaining a consistent brand experience with Clash Graphics.
