The existing BigCommerce store looked dated and lacked the professional polish expected in the medical and dental supply industry. Navigation was confusing, categories felt inconsistent, and product discovery required too many clicks. Although their business was strong, the website did not reflect the quality or reliability of their brand.
Before choosing AOC, Omni Dental Supply spent significant time evaluating several BigCommerce agency partners. Most were either too expensive, too rigid in their engagement structure, or provided overly generic recommendations that didn’t solve the real UX issues. They needed a practical partner who could execute a true UX/UI redesign driven by CRO insights, not a cosmetic facelift.

Our Approach
We began with a full UX/CRO audit, identifying the structural and behavioral problems impacting conversions. We redesigned the homepage, category layouts, and product templates for a more clinical, trustworthy, and modern presentation aligned with the dental industry.
Navigation was restructured to reduce cognitive load, placing high-value categories and kits more prominently while removing redundant or confusing pathways. Product architecture was cleaned up, grouping related items, normalizing naming conventions, and strengthening cross-category browsing.
The redesign included a new visual system, updated typography, optimized banners, clearer CTAs, improved filtering, and a streamlined mobile experience. We also addressed Searchanise optimization, ensuring relevance and speed for professional-grade catalog searches.
Throughout development, we rebuilt pages using best practices for performance, accessibility, and future expansion, ensuring Omni Dental Supply has a stable, maintainable BigCommerce foundation.
