Before partnering with AOC, Promo International vetted several BigCommerce agencies. Most suggested expensive custom builds or incomplete solutions that didn’t address their real pain point: a B2B catalog that lacked structure, clarity, and scalability.
Their products spanned hundreds of SKUs, but the data was inconsistent across images, categories, and pricing. The storefront itself was outdated, difficult to navigate, not optimized for B2B buyers, and lacked the professional polish expected from a global supplier. With growth accelerating, they needed a modern BigCommerce build that organized their catalog, strengthened their brand, and simplified the buying experience for wholesale customers.

Our Approach
We began by auditing the client’s legacy data and mapping their catalog structure to a BigCommerce Enterprise-friendly format. Our data team consolidated and normalized product listings, standardized category naming conventions, and cleaned pricing information so it could sync correctly with their ERP.
Next, we collaborated with their ERP provider to assist with integration planning, data mapping, and compatibility checks. This ensured that product data, inventory counts, and pricing tiers would update reliably between systems.
On the UX/UI side, we redesigned the homepage, mega menu, and key landing pages using Adobe XD, presenting their PROMOS line in a cleaner, more modern format tailored for B2B customers. We then implemented customer groups and price lists to support wholesale pricing rules.
After theme integration, our development team validated all product imports, tested ERP sync behavior, and ensured the storefront was stable, scalable, and ready for expansion.

Promo International, Inc. now operates a modern, scalable BigCommerce Enterprise B2B store designed for global distribution. With a cleaned and normalized catalog, ERP-aligned product data, and customer-specific pricing in place, the company finally has a digital infrastructure that matches the sophistication of their supply chain.
