The Challenge
A wellness brand built around simplicity needs a website that feels just as clear and supportive. The Well Theory’s WordPress.com storefront had friction points across key shopping paths, including confusing navigation patterns, mobile responsiveness issues, and inconsistencies between page templates that made the experience feel less polished than the brand itself.
In addition, several integrations and product purchasing elements needed refinement, including bundles, quantity controls, discount behavior, and routine-style product flows, all of which can quietly reduce conversion if they do not work perfectly across devices.

Project Goals
Improve usability and customer flow across core shopping pages
Fix layout and responsiveness issues, especially on mobile navigation
Strengthen reliability of bundles, routines, and purchase selections
Clarify CTAs and reduce friction in add-to-cart and cart behavior
Confirm cross-browser and cross-device consistency
Our Approach
The full purchase journey was reviewed across key templates, including category, product, cart, “Rise & Restore Routine,” and search results pages. UX patterns and page consistency were tightened, then conversion-impacting issues were resolved, including bundle logic, quantity selectors, discount calculations, and mobile navigation behavior.
App and feature behavior was validated across the stack, links and console errors were reviewed to eliminate hidden breakpoints, and Hotjar insights were used to confirm where real users hesitated or dropped off. Final QA included cross-browser and device testing to ensure the improved experience held steady across common environments.

Outcome
The Well Theory now has a smoother, more consistent WordPress.com shopping experience that better matches the brand’s promise of simple, supportive wellness. By removing friction across mobile navigation, purchase controls, and key integrations, the site is better positioned to convert high-intent visitors and support ongoing growth through continuous monthly improvements.
