The Specialized Need
The Free Range Butcher needed to expand delivery coverage in its existing BigCommerce shipping setup without replacing the operational structure already in use. The project centered on extending ShipperHQ suburb and postcode logic and adding a precise weekly order cutoff for a perishable-food delivery model.

Requirements & Constraints
The solution needed to work within several existing operating requirements:
Add newly supported suburbs and postcodes without rebuilding the entire shipping system.
Preserve the existing delivery logic used by the business.
Apply a Wednesday 11:59 PM order cutoff.
Keep postcode validation aligned with the expanded delivery area.
Test the updated shipping rules across multiple days and scenarios.
Custom Solution
Rather than redesigning the storefront or replacing the shipping architecture, the project focused on targeted ShipperHQ configuration and data management. New suburb and postcode data were incorporated into the Delivery Area Suburb Checker, and the cutoff logic was configured around the client’s weekly fulfillment requirements.
Validation
The updated shipping logic was tested across multiple days to review cutoff behavior and postcode validation within the configured delivery area.

Outcome
The project expanded the configured delivery area and added the documented weekly cutoff while preserving the existing ShipperHQ structure.
